Tomb of King Muryeong

Songsan-ri Tombs and Royal Tomb of King Muryeong (AD462-523) contains representative relics of the Baekje Dynasty period (AD234~678). The Songsan-ri Tombs contain the graves of kings while Baekje's capital was Gongju, and it is believed to have 10 such graves. Only seven graves have been discovered so far.
The popular Tomb of King Muryeong is the 7th tomb, the resting place for Baekje's 25th King Muryeong and his queen. This tomb was discovered accidentally when installing pipes to protect tombs number 5 and 6 from being flooded. The tomb is very unusual in the way it was built with bricks like 6th tomb and in what it houses like many national treasures inside, supplying precious research materials to the scholars studying Baekje culture.

Gongsanseong Fortress

Located in Gongju-si (city), it is a mountain castle established during the Baekje. You can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Geumgang riverside right here. Follow the trail path a little further up then Imryugak Pavilion appearing, known as the largest of its kind within the fortress. It is worth to visit for its historical and cultural significance, and also for the fantastic sight.

Jeonju Hanok Village

While the rest of city has been industrialized, Hanok Village retains its historical charms and traditions. It is particularly gorgeous for its unique roof edges, which are slightly raised to the sky.A part of Hanok (traditional Korean house) is set aside so that tourists can experience traditional Korean life at Hanok Life Experience Hall. The food provided here is folkloristic like bibimbap, the most well-known dish in Korea, adding to the conventional ambience.
