Spanning over 243 acres, this living museum offers visitors a delightful journey through various aspects of traditional Korean life from the late Joseon Dynasty to the early 20th century.

As you step into the Korean Folk Village, you are transported back in time to a bygone era. The village is meticulously designed to recreate the ambiance of a traditional Korean countryside, complete with authentic hanok houses, thatched-roof cottages, and various architectural styles from different regions of the country.

The village showcases over 270 traditional houses, farmhouses, and workshops, each representing a specific aspect of Korean culture. Skilled artisans and performers dressed in traditional attire roam the village, engaging with visitors and showcasing traditional crafts and performances.

Visitors have the opportunity to experience firsthand activities like traditional pottery making, traditional paper crafts (hanji), and weaving, providing a hands-on immersion into the country's cultural heritage.

One of the highlights of the Korean Folk Village is the diverse range of performances and demonstrations that take place throughout the day. The "Farmer's Music and Dance" and the "Tightrope Walking Show" are particularly popular among visitors.
