Discover Eastern Korea - 4 Days

Tour Summary

On the first day of this tour we travel to Jinju, where we visit the Jinjuseong Fortress. We then move on to the biggest port in Korea, Busan. In Busan, we take a tour to see sights including Nurimaru APEC House, Dongbaekseom, and the Centum City Shopping Mall, where you will find the largest department store on the planet!

In the morning of day 2 we leave Busan for Ulsan, to explore Ulgi Park - a seaside attraction situated on the east coast.

Continuing to Gyeongju, we take in the Bulguksa Temple, the Gyeongju National Museum, Anapji Pond and finally Tumuli Park. Our overnight stay is in Daegu.

Next day, day 3, we leave Daegu and head for Andong and the Hahoe Village. Moving on we drive to Wonju, and the Hanji Theme Park. After a lesson in the manufacture of traditional Korean paper, we head for Pyeongchang, where we rest overnight.

On day four, we continue our tour, travelling to Gangreung, where we call in at the Jumunjin Fish Market. This is followed by a trip to Yangyang for a short trek to enjoyy this scenic location. Lunch is followed by a return to Seoul, arriving back early in the evening.


This tour starts and ends in Seoul. Accommodation for additional nights in Seoul, either before or after the tour, may be added by request.

Day 1 (Tuesday) - Seoul - Jinju - Busan

Lunch and dinner will be served en route at local restaurants.

You will be picked up from your Seoul hotel and transfered to Lotte Seoul Hotel for the group departure.

We first travel to Jinju where we visit the Jinjuseong Fortress. Departing Jinju, we head on to Busan, Korea's largest port. In Busan we visit Nurimaru APEC House which is located at Dongbaekseom. We then visit Centum City Shopping Mall which houses the largest department store in the world.

Anapji, South Korea

Day 2 (Wednesday) - Busan - Ulsan - Gyeongju - Daegu

After breakfast we leave Busan and head for Ulsan. Our tour includes a visit to Ulgi Park which is a seaside park located on the east coast.

Heading on to Gyeongju we visit Bulguksa Temple, the Gyeongju National Museum, Anapji Pond and finally Tumuli Park. Moving on, we drive to Daegu, and, after having dinner at a local restaurant, check in to our hotel.

Suncheon Folk Village South Korea

Day 3 (Thursday) - Daegu - Andong - Wonju - Pyeongchang

Having had breakfast, we leave for Andong. Our first visit today is to Hahoe Village. We next enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, before travelling on to Wonju. In Wonju you will experience the Hanji Theme Park, after which you'll see how Hanji, (traditional Korean paper), is made. Leaving Wonju, we travel to Pyeongchang, where we check in to our hotel. Dinner is served in a local restaurant.

Yeosu Bridge, South Korea

Day 4 (Friday) - Pyeongchang - Gangneung - Mount Seorak - Seoul

Leaving Pyeongchang, we head for Gangreung where we visit the Jumunjin Fish Market. Having seen the Fish Market, we drive on to Yangyang where we enjoy a scenic trek at Jujeongol, Mt. Seoraksan experiencing the natural beauty of this region.

Lunch at local restaurant follows, and we then return to Seoul, arriving in the early evening.
